Cairn Music is a group of very talented musicians who will add class to your event with a personal touch. They can play a wide range of musical selections based on the atmosphere you desire for your event. If you are not sure what that atmosphere is, Annaka can help you determine that, too!

TRIO REPERTOIRE
  • What are your rates?
    We charge an hourly rate that varies depending on instrumentation. Contact us to today for a quote.
  • What is included in your wedding music services?
    We provide music for all elements of the service: prelude, processional, interludes/responses, recessional, and postlude. Upon contracting our ensemble, we will coordinate with you regarding your musical selections. We are also available to play for the cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony and dinner receptions.
  • What should we expect from you?
    For weddings, we will arrive at least 30 minutes before the time contracted for us to begin performing. This gives us time to set up, tune, and check in with the officiant regarding any additional details for your event. We recommend contracting us to perform prelude music, starting 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.
  • Do you need shelter for outdoor events?
    If performing outdoors, we ask that you provide a canopy or other shelter. We will not be able to perform outdoors if the temperature is below 60 degrees or above 95 degrees. We also cannot perform if there is any risk of our instruments encountering percipitation (snow, rain, etc.). Our instruments are valuable and need to be protected. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any refunds in the case of inclement weather. We recommend having a back up plan because outdoor weddings are risky. We will work to find to accomodate your needs on a case to case basis.
  • Are you able to attend our wedding rehearsal?
    Yes, the ensemble will attend a rehearsal, but only if it is included in the contract. Note, rehearsals require an additional rehearsal fee. If you do not contract us for the rehearsal, we will coordinate in advance via phone and email. We will also arrive early to coordinate with the officiant on the day of the event.
  • What do you need from us?
    We need one armless chair for each performer, sufficient space to accommodate the number of musicians, and adequate lighting. We will provide our own music stands. Our instruments do not need amplification.
  • What do the performers wear?
    To provide a professional look, we typically wear concert black. If you prefer us to wear something else, we may be able to accommodate your request.
  • Can you accommodate special music requests?
    Yes. With sufficient time we can prepare music outside of our standard repertoire. Please let us know what you would like to hear and we will get back to you with a quote for the arrangement.
